| Om tulum hotel | We went in hurricane season June so expect lots of wind, rain and power cuts if not in a huge resort. Although it didn't include a television, honestly, we didn't miss it. The hotel is on the beach which is really nice. Stretch out on the extra-large private deck with an outdoor dining area, spacious private bathrooms with multiple windows for ample sunlight to brighten the room. This ranged from grilled octopus to fresh fruit with yogurt to desserts and more. Coming from the Barcelona beach experience which is crowded and to go to a real beach in nature you have to travel at least 2 hours from the city, I would say that I did miss the nature, warmth and magic of my native Mexico. |
